Our policy on users for accessing several our websites
BIM@GT   (8/21/2006 9:11:23 PM)   No:0   read:2189
The AEC Integration Lab website currently has four levels of access, each with different access privileges. These determine what is available to you when you access the site.

1. Open Access:
This is the public level access that offers general background about Building Information Modeling, the software tools that support it, news and some articles.

2. Registered Users:
We are interested in who is using our site and invite people to register. Registrations will only be used by us, for possible emailing about AEC Integration Lab activities. Registered users will have access to some not published documents and information.

3. Partners:
AEC Integration Partners are people and organizations who have made donations to the AEC Integration lab to carry out its activities. These donations are tax deductible. Partners have access to active work going on in the Lab by students and faculty, and participate in workshops and conference calls.

4. Funded Contract Research Projects:
This category involves funded contract research with Georgia Tech and carried out by the AEC Integration Lab. These contracts have deliverables and are worked out jointly between the university lab and the organization funding the work. This funding is not tax deductible and carries overhead for administration and legal coverage. Funded research sites have separate login for that project, made accessible under arrangements of the funding.
